Legislative Training

Tom's City Council Expense Report

Legislative Trainings

  • Tom paid for his wife to attend the Elected Officials trainings with him so they could both meet with other city leadership, and learn from their successes and failures. They were able to meet with multiple venders and learn about new products and technologies that are available or are in the pipeline.

  •  The city budget includes allocations for city council training, recognizing that these sessions are valuable for discovering innovative solutions and best practices from other cities of similar size. These trainings help the council explore new ideas and improve their approach to governance.

  •  The expense report is provided here for transparency. The amounts of $4,800 and $6,000 at the top represent the stipends allocated to each council member.
